The situation
A fictional agency is adding a contract desk alongside its permanent recruiters. Each desk uses different stages and needs different information after placement. This example describes a possible workflow, not a real customer deployment or a claim of business results.
Shared foundations
The agency keeps client, contact, candidate and vacancy records in one workspace. It configures forms and workflows to reflect the information each desk needs, and uses saved views to focus on the relevant work.
Different work after placement
Permanent placements keep the placement and start-date record. Contract assignments carry the additional terms, dates and timesheet workflow. The team can support both engagement types without pretending they have identical operational needs.
What to evaluate in a demo
Bring the stages and forms from both desks. Check what should be shared, what should differ and which roles need access. Ask how you would migrate duplicate records and introduce the new workflow to the people who use it daily.
